Makeup Revisited

IMG_1814

A year has gone since I started the series Makeup of the Day, and I must confess that it is my favorite kind of posts to make! Today I decided I would revisit my very first makeup look (Makeup of the Day #1), a Autumn inspired makeup look rich in berry colors. The makeup I have on today is not identical, I decided to switch up some of the products and create a more wearable day time look. Let's get to the makeup!

I started off by applying my foundation, lately I've been trying out a sample I got from Sephora, the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation in Vanilla. Since I have super oily eyelids, I began by applying the Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base which I applied with my fingers. I started by applying a purply red/berry eye shadow with red flex's all over my eyelid and on my waterline, then on my crease, I applied a dusty rosy nude matte eyeshadow from the Zoeva Nude Palette and blended it in with the previous eyeshadow. In order to bring some light to my eye, I applied a mixture of two eye shadows in the inner corner of my eye, I applied a berry tone shade with a lot of shimmer and a dusty pink shade from my Valentin Mon Amour from Marionnaud palette. I finished off the eyes by applying the Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Flared mascara. For eyebrows I used the KIKO Shape & Shimmer Eyebrow and Highlighter Pencil 02, and the Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara to hold them in place. For concealer I used a combination of two, one with a more highlighting element for under my eyes, the Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 010 Porcellain from Catrice, and a more natural tone concealer for any imperfections, the Natural Concealer 02 Natural from KIKO. Today I decided to change it up and apply contour and highlight using the Contouring Pencil Set 01 Light to Medium from KIKO, I applied the bronzer pencil underneath my cheekbones, on my jawline and on the side of my nose, then I applied the highlighter pencil on the top points of my face, on top of my cheekbones, on top of my nose and under my eyebrows. Since I wanted more highlight, I applied the Elf Studio Baked Blush in Pinktasic over top the other highlighter. For blush, I used my Giordani Bronzing Pearls from Oriflame. I toped off the look with a super simple lip, since this look had a heavy eye look, I applied the H&M Lipgloss in Powder Kiss.

Beijinhos**
